Color is such an important part of an outfit- be it in abundance or lack there of. An all white or black ensemble can be spiced up with a splash of color in a statement necklace or a great pair of heels. On the flip side, monotone outfits of a great hue are bold and eye catching. Here's a look at what will be on the streets come Fall 2014.
Fashion Snoops is showing rich, Earthy tones in its "Bohemia" forecast for F/W14
Also in the forecasting guru's "Folk" forecast is a mixed palette of soft ballet tones, as I like to call them along with some of those Earth tones
Dolce and Gabana has created these gorgeous mosaic looking dresses, which incorporates the both the Earth and ballet tones in a creating that is out of this world.

I love how you chose such different palettes to talk about. It's always so sad when fall comes and the lighter colored garmets go to the back of the closet. But now you can mix and match your lights and darks! I also love how you mentioned monochromatic outfits, it's one of my favorite looks!
ReplyDeleteI love these Dolce&Gabbana pieces! It's more like artwork than fashion, its genius. I also like to see lighter colored garments during the fall, because I think all black is depressing (I know I'm clearly not from New York!). I do usually like the monochromatic look whenever I see it, but I rarely wear it myself. Anyways I love your blog, it's great inspiration.
